Our council gathered at church at 10:00 am after Mass for a BBQ brunch, setting aside the usual business meeting format for a relaxed opportunity to mingle, reconnect, and get to know one another better. Brothers brought their wives, and the morning turned into a pleasant summer gathering outside the portable.
The council provided burgers and beer, and everyone enjoyed a simple outdoor meal together. It was also the first time the council used the donated BBQ, and it worked extremely well for the occasion.
Thank you to all the brothers who came out with their wives for good food, great company, and excellent conversation. It was a joyful way to spend a summer morning together as a council.
